Week 3: final 2D designs

Week 2: Research

These images are from Mario Kart (December 14, 1996 By Nintendo) and also Super Mario Bros (September 13, 1985 By Nintendo).

I chose these images because I loved playing the Mario games when I was younger.

Weel 2: Pixel Art Ideas Finished

I have researched into different types and styles of Pixel Art, and I chose my favourite ones and drew

them.

as you can see in the photos I have been getting better in drawing Pixel Art and its techniques.

Here you can see where my initial ideas came from. I made my own design for the potion, and added in pixel shading, i will have to do different colours of the potion for higher levels. I shaded around the Ghost and used a different colour around the Star to show depth and. In my opinion, they look very accurate and as detailed as the ones I used. I have changed the flower by giving it full eyes to make it look better.

Week 1: Pixel Art

Today we was doing Pixel art such as PAC man and Space Invaders and I used techniques like Shading and colouring.

 

I used these as templates and I think they look the same. I edited Pac Man so he had a smaller mouth and a eye. I think it looks better.
